ASNOVA VIETNAM is finally up and running equipment center! Hold a safety prayer festival!

ASNOVA conducted test marketing in Vietnam for about 5 years from 2017, and in October 2022, we established a local subsidiary, ASNOVA VIETNAM, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Approximately 1,000 tons of wedge binding type scaffold have already been transported to the site. This time, in conjunction with the operation of the first equipment center in Vietnam, we held a safety prayer festival (like a Japan groundbreaking ceremony), and we would like to introduce the situation.

Test marketing since 2017 to understand wedge binding type scaffold rental needs in Vietnam

ASNOVA planned to expand into Vietnam in 2014 and conducted test marketing locally since 2017.
As a result of test marketing, a rich workforce with an average age of 31.9 years old, the third largest in ASEAN countries We found that the demand for scaffolding will increase in the future due to the large population, the tailwind for Japanese companies due to pro-Japanese sentiment, the increase in the middle class due to the high economic growth rate, the economic growth rate is expected to continue, the resumption of post-coronavirus construction, and the need for scaffolding rentals in Vietnam, which is very high as Japan.

Equipment Center Location

Phu My 3 Industrial Park

The Equipment Center opened by ASNOVA in Vietnam is located in an industrial park called Phu My 3, which is about 30 km from the new international airport and about 60 km from Ho Chi Minh City, which is scheduled to open in three years.

Also, equipment center is about 4,000 Although it has a large area of square meters, it is possible to expand equipment center even if rental demand increases in the future due to the development of equipment center in a part of the vast site, and the amount of equipment owned increases.

Safety Prayer Ceremony - Scenes from the day

A safety ceremony was held to pray for the safety of the center and the prosperity of its business.

On December​ ​21, 2022, a safety prayer festival was held at ASNOVA VIETNAM Equipment Center in preparation for the center's operation.

The safety prayer ceremony is similar to a Japanese ground-breaking ceremony, in which an auspicious day is selected, a monk from a local temple is invited to perform a religious ceremony to pray for prosperity and safety in the business.

Water, juice, sweets, fruit, preserves in syrup, flowers, candles, chalices, bells, etc. will be prepared.
Equipment Center Invite a monk to read the sutras.
The participants will then proceed to an office set up within the center and offer prayers to God.
We light incense sticks all around the room, join our hands and pray, then light incense sticks outside the office.
We also light incense sticks around the center.
Of course, we also burn incense sticks in the scaffolding we rent. We burn incense sticks in every corner of the center.
Once all the incense smoke has been dispersed, the sutra is recited again in front of the offerings.
Then sutras are recited and raw rice is scattered on the grounds.
Finally, pray again and the safety prayer ceremony comes to an end.
