First time exhibiting at Vietnam's largest construction exhibition "VIETBUILD"
"VIETBUILD HCMC 2022 (PHASE 2)" was held for five days from June 22 to 26 at the Bisky Expo Exhibition &Convention Center in Quang Trung Software City, District 12, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The first exhibition was a great opportunity to learn about the establishment of a local subsidiary in Vietnam, wedge binding type scaffold, and our rental know-how.
VIETBUILD is held under the direction and support of organizations including the People's Committees of major cities Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Can Tho City, as well as the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, and is organized by Vietnam's leading international exhibition company, Vietbuild Construction International Exhibition Organization Corp. Many local companies as well as companies from other Asian countries and Europe and the United States participated in the event, with the latest products and services relating to architecture, construction materials, real estate, and interior and exterior design being displayed at approximately 2,200 booths.
Along with Vietnam's economic and urban development over the past decade, VIETBUILD has established itself as the largest exhibition in Vietnam, both domestically and internationally, and appears to have become a traditional festival with a strong influence on the construction industry.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to interact with experts from various fields, including the diverse activities of the real estate industry, new products and cutting-edge technologies related to construction, etc. It also serves as a venue for visitors, domestic and international entrepreneurs, construction contractors, engineers, architects, etc. to explore new products that serve the construction industry and architecture, new solutions in the construction and design of advanced scientific products.
The first day of the exhibition kicked off with a grand and lavish opening ceremony.
Theme of the first exhibition
Features of wedge binding type scaffold
In order for many people to experience wedge binding type scaffold, we prepared a scaffolding at the booth. The number of people who exceeded expectations stopped by and became interested.
The wedge binding type scaffold we handle is characterized by its ability to handle buildings with diverse and complex shapes, and can be easily installed and dismantled with a single hammer, increasing work efficiency.

Increasing awareness of ASNOVA
The features of scaffolding were seen and touched by the actual product, and our thoughts were paid attention to using the brand movie. In this video, we recreate the popular "Parkour Event" using scaffolding and express ASNOVA's activities to revitalize the scaffolding industry.
Visitor reactions and issues
We successfully made a heartfelt approach to over 150 companies!
Over the course of five days, we were able to promote ASNOVA to a wide range of people, from major general contractors to mid-sized and small subcontractors, as well as general users. More than 150 companies showed interest in our rental services and made new contacts, making this a very satisfying exhibition.
There were three keywords that visitors responded strongly to. ①Diverse functionality ②Rental value ③Durability
Easy, safe and convenient!
Here are some of the comments we received from many visitors.
"Even if you put so much effort into it, it doesn't shake at all," he said, adding that he felt the stability while experimenting with the scaffolding in the exhibition.
"We are working in small spaces where apartments are crowded together, and on alleys, but with this we can set it up to the length we need!"
"Installation is one thing, but transporting it is also quite a hassle, so this is very helpful as it can be transported compactly."
"We're working on a small project, so it's nice to be able to reduce the time it takes to install the scaffolding."
"I'm in charge of safety management, and this is easy to install, so I think it will make a big contribution to preventing accidents on site."

The appeal of rental
The first word that attracted visitors was the business model of "recycling, rental." The reason for this is that in Vietnam, the majority of people buy equipment cheaply, use it, and throw it away if it breaks down or there is no place to store it.
In addition to scaffolding, the fact that mesh sheets surrounding the scaffolding are available at low prices and are discarded after 1~2 sites are used was revealed by visitor voices and market research. The low-cost mesh sheet is very thin, and it seems that it will crack and become unusable in about 6 months ~ 1 year.
Environmental laws are being developed, but there is still room for consideration for the environment. I felt a great sense of mission in addressing the social issues surrounding the industry. I think that visitors were able to recognize that renting is an earth-friendly option.
Scaffolding Surprised by the age of use!
There is always a question that I ask when a visitor is interested.
ASNOVA: "How long do you think this scaffolding has been in use?" Visitor: "About 5 years?!" ASNOVA: "Actually..."
At the booth, we exhibited scaffolding that had been used for about 15-20 years, and many people said that they were 5-6 years old. The long service life is the result of our management level and know-how. At this exhibition, we dared to exhibit scaffolding that has actually been used for 15-20 years, rather than a new one, so we were able to fully convey our strengths.

Purpose : Create your places of tomorrow with the power of kasetsu.
At this exhibition, we were able to convey that this scaffolding will be active for the next 10 to 20 years and that it is a strength of the know-how cultivated in Japan, and I feel that it was an opportunity for visitors to have new options and values. In addition to the quality of Japan scaffolding, "thorough management and maintenance" is important to extend the life of the scaffolding. We hope that the number of recycling-type rental scaffolding will increase in the process of creating Vietnam's "places of tomorrow", which will continue to grow in the future, and that it will develop in an environmentally friendly manner, and we strongly feel that we want to instill our purpose.
Next time, we will tell you about the appeal of VIETBUILD's exhibition.
bonus
What kind of novelty should we use? What kind of booth would be the most eye-catching? This was our first exhibition, and we took on the challenge with a trial and error "case study."
The hugely popular "ASNOVA BAG" and "ASNOVA NOTEBOOK" were great to see in various places.
Members of our headquarters went to Vietnam to support the exhibition and conduct market research. Stay tuned for our next article on Vietnam!
